£2.29 per meal (£11.45 per week) as of Summer term 2017
Please send the correct dinner money to school each Monday in a sealed named envelope. Alternatively for a more convenient method you can pay at the beginning of each school term. Money needs to be placed in the red zipper bag in the classroom. Cheques should be made payable to “Nottinghamshire County Council“. If dinner money is not paid on a Monday then your child will be asked to bring sandwiches for the rest of the week.
A healthy balanced meal cooked on the premises is provided. A packed lunch with drink may be consumed under supervision at lunchtime – please provide healthy options such as fruit and vegetables and ensure that no sweets or fizzy drinks are included. Filtered, chilled water is available for all children at lunchtime.
We offer milk to all Foundation Stage and KS1 children but they must register with coolmilk. Children in KS2 can buy milk for £10 per term.
Drinking plenty of water is important for learning so we encourage you to send a non-spillbottle of plain water (not juice, flavoured water or squash) to school for your child to drink during lessons.
Snacks And The Fruit & Vegetable Scheme
The only snacks allowed in school are fruit and vegetables. All Foundation Stage and KS1 children are offered a free piece of fruit or vegetable each day.
Children may also bring fruit/vegetables from home. It is essential that you inform us of any allergies your child may have so that we can avoid giving anything that may be harmful to them.
